Working on my 46" HD front blade that I have for my B110. The spring loaded block that locks into the slots to hold the angle doesn't seem to be set correctly. The manual that I have does not really show a good diagram of how this setup should look. It binds and won't release enough to allow the blade to pivot. I have never had the rod to adjust from the seat. I have to get off the seat and do this manually and it still requires a lot of fiddling and fussing to get the block to clear the slots so that the blade will actually pivot. There are 2 roll pins in the 1 end that is inside the plow frame. Are both pins supposed to be down inside with the spring between them or is the block supposed to be positioned so that 1 roll pin is outside and 1 is inside the frame? I have tried both ways and neither still seems to work correctly. Any ideas or good pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Both pins should sit in the same, with the spring putting tension on it to hold the block in place. Is there slop in your pivot arm, or is the linkage tweeked? I have rarely seen issues with the block, but sometimes the pivot assembly doesn't allow for enough travel when turning your angle rod.

The linkage is all free and works fine. The issue is with the block itself. Even with all the linkage unhooked, the block just doesn't seem to be positioned correctly and doesn't work correctly.

Actually think I just figured it out after fiddling with it some more. It seems to me that the block has to extend down through the lower part of the frame so that the 2 roll pins do indeed hold it in place by the upper 1 being inside the frame and the lower 1 being outside the frame on the bottom side (not the top side like I tried before). The spring itself then grabs the block above the upper pin. With everything set up this way, the binding of the block with the pivot slots is gone and it now has completely smooth movement of all of the linkage through the full range of movement. Now, to just find or have made a rod so that I can set the angle from the seat like you are supposed to be able to do. Thanks.
