Pulled the cab off my 7040 last weekend and put ROPS on. Thought I'd share a before and after picture.

I don't regret doing that same thing to a rough 7060 that I bought last winter. So tell me, do you find getting into and out of the seat a 100% easier?  Looks ok to me.

Do you still have the radio in it?

Looks like you also painted the muffler, changed filters, a battery, and gave her a wax job. Turned out well.

Much easier to climb on and off but it's way louder than I expected. Muffler is actually a new Nelson muffler that I put on earlier this spring. Yes I added rear weights and 20.8 tires. The radio is still in the cab.

What did you do with the old cab bits and pieces?

You "cabless" people must be one heck of a lot tougher than me, or else your summers are cooler and your winters are warmer than they are here. I rather enjoy a good cab with working heat and AC. Darrel

I plan to sell it as a whole or parts if anyone wants it. Keeping the roof and lights.

If you dont mind me asking, how much did the Nelson muffler cost, and where did you find it?

Gleaner: the properly engineered and built combine.

If you need parts for your Gleaner, we are parting out A's through L2's, so we may be able to help.

Dont remember the price. I bought what I believe was the last remaining stock direct from the factory a couple years ago. Last time I seen a Nelson muffler for sale for a 7000 series was well over a year ago and it was just over $200 and they no longer have them listed. That was at a truck repair shop.

No , I meant for you to get grinders 7040 cab and put it on your 200. Be a lot nicer than what I got.

Would it work? And has anyone done it?

I'm sure it would be a lot of work but the end result would be better. Someone put a 6000 series cab on a 175
