Got some tonight while out mowing lawn...not the biggest but ooooohhh they was good!

We flavor honey with freeze dried blackberry's. It is our biggest selling flavored honey.

we have a patch on a field edge of wild blackberries, make jam from them. they have a much better flavor than the tame ones!

Hard to find them now as Roundup on the fields has killed most. Used to find them in every fence row.

The official "Blackberry Festival" of NC is held here each year, just had it a couple of weeks ago. Have lots off tame blackberries for sale and blackberry cobblers.

They should have been up around the 3rd week of July and still going strong. BUT, because it's been so dry here, I haven't seen any yet. I'll have to check out back tomorrow or Thursday....there's a pond back there, it might help.
