Should a Inline pump off an AC 8070 fit a Ac 7080 to get more power?

I allready tuned up the Roosamaster pump, but I need more power for tractorpulling

I have several 3.1 mm head pumps off of a n6 combine ask injed how much fuel you can get out of one of those pumps

thanks for the plug Gary! the way to crank up a DM4 is to tear it apart, and make the adjustments. There are alot of things I do to a Roosa, more than just opening the roller dimension. An 8070 didn't use an inline, it was an American Bosch model 100 rotary pump, like an IH 66/86 series. those pumps run at engine speed, as opposed to a roosa at 1/2 eng speed. lots to change. stick with the roosa!

If the mounting hole in the front engine plate will accept the M-100 pump as-is, the idler gear inside should work just fine even tho it's a double gear.....the front gear just doesn't do anything when driving an M-100 pump.

good info DR! I always wanted to know what all changes AC made to put on the M100, in relation to the gear train. acwillem, what type of pulling you doing? Farm stock? speed limit, rpm limit? depending on the power you desire, and the $ you are willing to spend on it, the M100 does have more potential, but if you run an 8mph limit for example, you can make more than enough power with a tweaked roosa. An M100 would need to be tweaked also to get the most bang for the buck.

We drive standard farm-class in the netherlands, but we have only limit in rpm.

I had the idea to mount a Bosch a-pump, but that doesn't fit, there is no enough space, so I was looking for something else. Our Roosamaster was tuned up at a dieselstore and was maximum at 270cc.

An A pump will fit, but takes some work, P pumps fit also, but the oil cooler needs to be eliminated I think.
