I found my issue the first place i looked. I'll assume Dad cranked pressure high(as on everything) and stressed spring. I put 3 washers in to shim it and everything works fine. I would like to get the correct spring.

you might specify what this is for and if it is industrial you might be able to find a part number in Minnpar parts books.

Check with a local Hydraulics shop, Eaton and Cessna are a combined company now, may be something still available.

I have a extra valve block assembly for an I-600 which I think has the same Cessna control valve that I could rob the spring out of for you. just need to know what section it came out of.

If you can get the dimensions of the spring you should be able to find a machine shop near you that could wind you a new one.
