I blew a rear tire on my WD 45. It was a 14.9-28. The remaining tire is only fair.

I also have a spare 16.9-28 tire. Anyone have an opinion as to whether I should use 16.9 or 14.9-28 tires?

Also, my tire were air filled. Any thoughts on filling with fluid?

Finally, I am in NE Indiana and am looking for one tire, either a 14.9 or a 16.9-28...

anyone have one for sale in the area?

My 45 has fluid. I use it for pushing snow with a rear blade and a 5 foot snow bucket on the loader. Without the fluid, it would be useless. People worry about rims rusting out but it took 40 or more years for this to happen. You can add used antifreeze or windshield washer fluid also. It won't be as heavy, but will work.
I think 16.9's would look cool on a 45. I don't know if there would be clearance for the fenders and the rims may be a little narrow but probably will work.

Hey there Wilson, I have about 6 or seven spares in varied shape. I'll take a look today. They all hold air, some with fluid in them. Treads vary from 50 to 80 %. I'll get back to you later today with what I have. I'm in NE Ind.
