I was visiting Mom on mother's day and just by chance I ran into my best friend from back when I moved out and got my first apartment. Jeremy shared an apartment for a couple years before I moved to the Des Moines area and we lost contact. Fast forward about 25 years and we spent a few hours remembering the good old days. I just found out he had a massive heart attack and died. When I saw him 2 weeks ago he looked fine and was larger than life as usual.
Since none of us has a stamp on the bottom of a foot for an expiration day, if you have that long lost friend you wonder what they're up to these days, pick up the phone or stop by. They'll be glad to see/hear from you...

Sorry for the loss of your friend. And VERY good advice on making contact with those you care for but haven't seen in some time. Especially take time to spent some quality time with your parents or one day you will be saying I wish I had spent more time with them.

Yes you never know when only the good Lord knows that.
Sorry for your lose. I was always connecting with one of my classmates on facebook every morning, one day at noon I happen to see a post on his page that he died. That was a total shock because we had just cross paths that morning.

Sorry about the loss of your friend. Time goes by so quickly, we often forget about the ones who have at one time been instrumental in our lives. Stop and take time to remember old friends and contact them if possible.
