When your time is up.
A friend of mine worked for a small town that encompasses the lake that I primarily work at. He was their main mechanic & dredge operator. Yesterday, While in the shop doing work to the dredge he collapsed of a heart attack & died. He was early 60’s. He will be missed!

My hometown high school class graduated on Sunday. On Monday night one of the graduates was killed in a vehicle accident. He was a wrestler and had wrestled postseason with our kids club and helped us coach. Very sad, he was a good kid.

johnkc, sorry to hear the news about your friend. We never know when God will call our number and we are not guaranteed the next breath but we are guaranteed a home with Him if we accept His Son and what He did for us.

CAL(KS), it is sad when one so young and with a great future is taken from us. That was one of the hardest parts of working fire/rescue, especially when you knew the person.

Prayers and thoughts for the lossed, the family and friends. No , one never knows when the reaper will show up. Live your life right while you can . Trust in the Lord and it will work out.
My good friend got killed in a head on collision on a two lane highway by a texting driver who swerved into George's lane. I am sure two seconds before it happened George had no idea what was coming. 10 years ago May 8th.

Oh, and the first phone call today was another friend telling me about a friend of ours that had a real bad heart attack but is expected to come thru ok.
So tomorrow I ain’t answering the phone.

Only God knows when our picket is punched. WE have to live every second as if it is our last. So many die so early. Sorry about the loss of your friends.
