While circling Kansas and Nebraska this week I spent the night in Lincoln, Nebraska Tuesday night and ate at the Texas Roadhouse.   I was finishing up my meal and a young couple sat down not far from me, the young man had an Allis Chalmers hat on with the diamond logo.  I wasn't dressed in anything resembling tractor collecting duds but when I finished I got up, walked over to their booth, told him, "I like your hat."  He said, "thank you sir," and not wanting to interrupt their dinner I gave him my card and left.  Thank goodness there are younger people out there interested in Orange.

Im just 33 but i remember my biggest problems when i was younger was money in the hobby. All the older guys could pay way more than i could for the better stuff. and most of the stuff i could aford needed so much i couldnt aford to much more than get them running. I remember my frist allis was a ca and i think it took me 5 years to get it up to shape i could actually use it any. Which i have to admit i had trouble keeping my eye on the prize. I had troble with to many irons in the fire so to speak lol.

Old Tractors attract old men even if getting on or off them is a PITA

If it goes fast and pretty girls like riding IN them or ON them, the younger men are more attracted to follow the car or cycle hobby

It has my name with the heading of Allis Chalmers Collector on it, my contact info, a drawing of my tractor in the top corners and also a couple versions of the diamond logo.

That looks like a good time, lots of big tractors that I don't see much of.  I expect that if me, you and Shameless got together there is a furry faced guy in Minnesota would start to worry, and probably with good reason.
