Going to look at a 5030 tomorrow, nothing that I need, but it only has 360 hrs on it and is said to be in new condition.  Anything to look out for on these machines? What would its value be? I just bought a 72" Woods finishing mower to go behind the D10, would this be to large for the 5030? Thanks, Brian

Really like our 5030 - My wife has taken it over as hers. The 72" mower may work. Kind of depends on you ground. If its hilly. you might need extra weight on the front. Tractor is kind of light up front. Price is a good question. If it really is in good condition, may run as high a $4,000. Ours has been really handy - use it with a 5' bush hog to keep trails open through the woods (hilly - added front weight). Makes a GREAT hay raking tractor.

Some of them had a 4 speed with a hi - low range. Some had a 4 speed with a hi -med -low range. The low is REALLY LOW. The three speed range is more desireable. Ours is the three speed - gives 12 gears vs 8.  Very economical to run.

Hi Brian, let us know how it turns out. If you purchase the 5030 & find you have too many tractors I would be interested in ONE of them! lol...Harvey

Looked at the tractor today and it is in excellent shape with 408 hours, it is the earlier model with the 8 speed. It does have two factory weights out front. Comes with plow, cultivator and disc that are fair-asking 4500. A little more than I was thinking.
Harvey, I love using the D10 & D15, thought I might find something to save alittle wear and tear on them. Sorry there is always room in the Barn!

Brian, There were implements made specifically for the 5030 -- if the implements are those, plus factory weights, and actually 408 hrs -- $4500 is very fair.  Don't see many of the implements made for that tractor.  Would think there would be an interest in them if you wanted to resell at some point.
