I just bought a Allis sickle mower to restore and probably mow my pond bank. I’m wanting to buy a manual for it but unsure of the model. It is a 2 point with a dolly wheel in the back. All I can find are the 80R or 80T but this isn’t full trail type or full 3 point.

Is it 3pt hitch arms and a dolly wheel. Think that's a 82R. I might have a book

It could be a model 3 mower also. It has single wheel behind.

This is what it looks like. Only picture I could find online of one but no info. I assume the 80 series manuals are mostly the same, but I would like to find the right one or close to it.

Ok thanks. I’m sure the book will say, but what is the rear hitch for?

Rear hitch is for pulling a conditioner.

Is there a aftermarket place to get the guards and hold down clips or are they brand specific?

I think that is an 82R3 isnt it? 82R was 3 point mount that raised and lowered with the 3point and had no tail wheel

82R3 had the tail wheel(semi mount) mounted to the 3 point, and raised and lowered with the cylinder

That's an 82R,the only R3 mower was the 80R3 the only true 3pt mower AC ever built.

Theres brackets that go over the 3pt pins and go up to the center link bracket of tractor. Hope that made sense lol. But if i remember right they were a pain in the but to get in

Yeah thats the one. The brackets going up to the center link bracket should lock it rigid so it cant raise or lower. On a D series tractor once you hit the raise lever it should send oil directly to the remote cylinder beacuse the 3 point arms would be lock solid.

Our Woods 3 point backhoe is set up like that. Once it is on the 3 point cant go up or down, it just hangs there lol
