I like those pedals Ray. Mine are a little sloppy, but not too bad. If was still painting mine, I'd be calling you.

Thanks Dave. It does make it a whole lot nicer than them flopping around. I resize the foot clutch linkage hole back to original also.

Can do Dennis.
I don’t sleeve the left brake pedals. Because they usually don’t get loose due to being clamped to the pedal shaft with the tapered bolt. I have some good used ones if yours are bad for what ever reason.

Send me a pm with your phone number or give me a call so I can be sure I bring down all the parts you need.
Thanks.

Do you sleeve/rebuild hand clutch levers?

Posted By: Lonn
Date Posted: 06 Apr 2018 at 8:00am
I think hand clutch levers are already sleeved. Can't remember for sure. Either that or I had mine sleeved on my WD 25 years ago.

Looked it up on AGCO parts and the early WD was not sleeved and stating at #34450 and up they were.

As Lonn said. For the hand clutches. All I’ve had to do is change out the bushings in them. I have the new bushings.

Didn’t know that about the earlier ones. Thanks for the info Lonn.

Unstyled, if you need a later hand clutch lever that takes the bushings. I have a couple with new bushings in them.

Ray, I too would like to pick up some rebuilt pedals at the GOTO.  Two clutch, and two right brake.  I'll find you, but I can be found in the feature area, with the Buckeye Allis Club table.  I'll bring core pedals. Thanks, Joe DeLisle

Nice work on these parts Ray. Yes most tractors need all these items. I tend to be too cheap and slobber them up.:)
Very tempting though, to just get good reconditioned items like you have!

 Chris

Thank you for the compliment Chris! Your pretty handy in the shop. So this stuff would be no problem for you.
These parts are the result from having more than one, or 6 WD / WD45s.

Ray,
I am just ready to pull the rod for the brakes and clutch. I will see how bad its worn. Your new one looks real good. I like it when the tractor has these worn areas improved, and brought back. They just feel and function so much better!
My one WD has the cross hatch worn off the pedals. You might want to sell these in sets so the wear marks match from pedal to pedal. Just another little detail!:)
Regards,
 Chris

I got you covered for parts. Good job doing your part for the economy.

Tim has parts at my place too. He may be trying to overload on parts so I have to drive back to NH to help haul.

You won't believe the difference the rebuilt pedals make! I advise replacing the shaft also if you replace the pedals.  Finished my second set of pedals today, but this one did not include the pedal shaft.  First set did, and it fit perfect, no more vivbrating of brake pedal on the fender, and no rubbibg of the clutch on the frame rail. Great improvement. And, Ray is great to work with!!

Yeah Joe, he's a pretty good guy too.  We have yet to bend our elbows over a beer, but maybe this year!

I keep forgetting to ask Ray, how much for the hand clutch bushings and for the complete hand clutch build?

Thank you for the compliments guys.

Good to hear you got them put on Joe. Very glad to hear you’re happy with them & it all worked out. I’ll need to get you another of those shafts sometime.

Ted, looks like we’ll be seeing each other a couple times this summer. As far as the hand clutch goes. They come from the factory with bushings. So I remove the old ones. Put in new. Add a grease zert. Braze weld the link pin hole & resize it back to original hole size.
I get $25 with good usable core for those.

Ray W.

Tim, that's NOT a problem!!!!  I'll throw em in my truck and bring them with to Union Grove.  I like others to keep the economy going too. Big smile

Ray, after I look at the clutch pedals, I'll let you know if it's just the bushing or the whole thing.

You still making the new foot pedal shafts? I probably need to replace both the clutch shaft and the brake side shaft I am sure. And then get all 3 of my pedals sleeved. Too much awful slop.

How hard is it to remove the old pedals and install the new shaft?

Posted By: Rltool
Date Posted: 04 May 2020 at 12:54pm
garden_guy, disassembly is pretty easy. As long as the taper pointed bolts come loose. That is one shaft that goes all the way across. Yes I have plenty of the shafts made up & some pedals ready to go. Give me a call or send me a message.

Good to know it is just one shaft per tractor -- I think both my WDs could use the upgrade. Sent you a message!

Just wanted to post and say I finally got the new shaft installed in my WD today (I had the old pedals sleeved and reamed to fit the new shaft), and it is fantastic.

Thanks again!

Indeed it does. I've never driven a WD with pedals this tight. It is very awesome!

Next fall's project is going to be taking the second shaft and doing the other WD!

I would like two of the steering shaft supports without the grease fitting. If you need cores, I can bring some along also.
