A widow lady near me has a D14 she is trying to sell.  I'd love to have it, but we need a new family vehicle worse than we need another project.  Here is a run down of what I know:

- Back tires are dry rotted very bad
- back rims appear solid, 26" spin outs
- front tires are pretty poor also
- side panels are missing
- grill insert is home made
- extra left side hood with tractor, pretty good shape
- muffler is rotten
- fenders are good, minor damage to rear of right fender but no rust / rot issues
- AC 3 pt adapter is on tractor, I tried to buy it but she wouldn't separate it
- Hydraulics and traction booster seem to work
- engine had 10-12 psi oil pressure idling warm, temp gaguge appeared to work
- it didn't act like it wanted to jump out of gear, but I am no expert on this problem
- Power director worked in high and low
- it seemed a little tight going into gear - had to ease the clutch out to get it into gear a couple of times
- the snap couple draw bar is with the tractor
- the tractor ran pretty well and idled nicely, once I got it off the bank it was parked on so the gas could get out of the tank to the carb.

All in all, a pretty nice little D14 project, all things considered.  The lady is asking $1,500.  She lives in Mooresboro NC.  You can PM me for more info.  I told her I would try to help advertise it.

Thanks,
Adam

Not a bad price - some tin and tires and you're in business! Hope someone grabs it.

Wow, two D14's in NC for $1500 within a two week span... and both within 90 minutes drive.  Hopefully a forum member gets this one too.

This tractor is still for sale.  I'm not sure if the lady who owns it is getting any more negotiable.  Asking price is $1,500.

Dang-it adam, why you put this on knowing I want one, but too poor to afford? Hurts me deep-down.LOL! Especially with the three-point adapter. Would look great in  the shed beside the C.

Dream,

It would be a good one to fix up.  I wish I had the money, but now is not the time for me.  Go ahead and jump on it!
