Here are some tractor pics you guys might like.  Dad is putting bales away with the 185, we had to take the pipe off to get inside the barn.  Hope you enjoy them and Happy Independence Day!

10.00X16 front and 18.4X34 on back.  We modified it a little, put a turbo and bigger rubber than it came with.  It has just over 3,000 hours and runs and sounds great.

What did you do to make an 8090?

It's an 8050, just filled in a little paint and it became an 8090.  It's got an 8.3 cummins and dynos 230 hp.  I'm an Allis fan but I think they tried to squeeze too much power out of the 426.  The cummins gave it more lugging and it burns a lot less fuel.  We sold it to a local guy recently and bought an Agco DT240 - had to get an ORANGE one while you still can.

Thanks for the pictures.

The Rubio Motor sign caught my attention as I live in Fairfield. Also, I am restoring a WC, SN 43, that was purchased new from Rubio Motors. I am the second owner.

Thanks,

Ron

That's cool Ron, nice to know where the WC originated.  I live north of Richland, Dad bought that sign at Steinbeck's sale.  He and his dad made lots of runs to Rubio.  We still farm with 6 orange tractors ( 5 are TRUE orange ones - 7045, 185, 2 6080's and a series IV D17.
