KCM loaders will soon take on the branding of its parent company. According to a company press release, nearly two years after Hitachi Construction Machinery completed its purchase of the company, KCMA Corporation will change its corporate name to Hitachi Construction Machinery Loaders America. The change, which includes a new corporate structure, takes effect today, January 1. Hitachi says it plans to increase loader production and streamline its loader offering in North America. The company manufactures loaders in Banshu and Ryugasaki, Japan; and in Newnan, Georgia. KCM, formerly Kawasaki Construction Machinery, entered the North American construction equipment market in 1962. The Japanese company released its first wheel loader to the market in 1978 and in 2010 entered into a joint venture with Hitachi to aid in the development of Tier 4 Final loaders. In 2016 Hitachi purchased KCM loaders from Kawasaki. “This solidifies the commitment of Hitachi Construction Machinery Group to the North American market,” Masaaki Hirose, President of Hitachi Construction Machinery Loaders America says in a statement. Hitachi says a new website and updated communication materials for Hitachi loaders will be launched in the coming months. ------------- Faith isn't a jump in the dark. It is a walk in the light. Seems one can't keep up without a score card . Was easy when Ford bought New Holland and Fiat entered into a joint venture with AC Then IH sold to Dresser and dresser sold to , but Case stood alone until it split and the New New Holland / Fiat bought the one part and IH had another but under Case/IH . Then AC sold to CDS which sold to Ingersol Rand which use to be New Holland before Ford bought it but sold it to Fiat But the Korean , Japanese, US, and ? still all intermingle parts made by others into machines sold throughout the world under the brand name of ? It seems even JD and CAT are involved in some off color machines with new paint job and name change along with a couple other parts ------------- Faith isn't a jump in the dark. | Joint ventures, currently in one with CNH, owns much of CNH stock, as a Heavy Industrial manufacturer has decidedly moved to divest heavy from its marketing and deal strictly in automotive sector as a prime business. Fiat Chrysler US and Fiat SpA in Europe. |

Seems the big fish eat the small ones - until a bigger one comes along - Then GM seems to have shrunk from world leader to one of the small fish - but in another article the Chinese are looking on acquiring Fiat Chrysler or least some or part of it . Fiat management/owners of private stock are getting old. They die off or sell off and the Chinese attain ownership Katie Bar the Door on the crap that would hit the markets under CNH, Fiat whatever, Chrysler knock offs and all those facilities basically sent into mainland China with the jobs in the EU, Mexico and here GONE. Anyone here know how to spell Fiat in Chinese?? |

Been getting spammed by a 'New' comer in the machinery market, Rhino Equipment. SUPPOSEDLY building a dealership network in the US. So far as to the machines in photos appear as clones of Komatsu, Deere and Case. Have a list of everything under the sun as to machines. Interesting!..... Hitachi purchases Kawasaki wheel loaders to market in North America, when Hitachi supplies excavators to John Deere for the last 20+ years, so Hitachi will now compete with there excavator partner for wheel loader sales!..... I see nothing alarming with China buying up any vehicle manufacturer, they already supply all the parts, most everything on a GM truck says made in China on it, Most every part in a Cummins engine built in the last 10-15 years also says China on it, eliminate the middle man I guess  Lee  ------------- B212 912 Willy's Jeeps Gleaner K |
