Howdy friends.

A quick question regarding my HD16DC. I took the access plate off the back of the dozer where you can expose and clean the final drive and brake breather units.

On my tractor there is a 1/4" copper line with brass not nuts and a ferrel on each end connecting the left side breather to a valve cluster next to it. guessing its a steering valve. One on each side.

this line has a broken nut,.,,, I broke it, and wondering if this is just a passive breathing line or is it under any kind of pressure. Asking as I would rather replace with a flexible reinforced line of equal size. Will send pic later today.

Thank you

My 7G has them directly on the brake actuator housings, may want to scan through the parts book at Minnpar to see what they show.

Thwas the rear of the donor, they sit one to either side off angle.

Yup,,, mine too. Are they under pressure when tractor is in use? Just curious. In the manual they do not refer to them.
