With the recent talk about unloading augers, did the straight M/L machines have a swivel unload at their debut, or were they manual like the A-K series? Thanks

All I have seen had swivel augers, don't think they were options.

1972 model "L" Gleaner was the first combine to have push button electro-hydraulics, a transverse dual-duct cleaning fan and the swivel style unloader tube, all as standard equipment. The little brother the "M" had the same features when it was introduced in 1973.

It has been awhile, but I think I can remember seeing the manual engage on an N6 one time.

I think the question is auger swinging  in and out not engaging the auger to discharge the grain.

Ray54 is correct. I just was curious about when the swivel came to be, meaning what model, I have seen F2's (early) with manual fold but did not know when/model started the swivel. Thanks
