I have a AC 7060 powershift with brake problems. Last year the high range gear seized onto the shaft.   Split the tractor, tore down the rear end to replace the high range gears and shaft. After getting it back together and using it for a couple of hours I still don’t have pressure to the brake pedals. Is there air in the lines? Something else? I have learned a lot from searching this forum. Thank you for sharing your expertise!

Pressure for the brakes comes from the diff lock valve tee on the top. Do all other hydraulic functions work ????????????????????   If so, I'd suspect the inlet fitting (orifice) on the brake valve is plugged with a spec of debris.

DrAllis - thanks for the quick reply! Yes, all other hydraulic functions work as they should. I’ll check the brake valve inlet fitting...

I resealed one a while ago that was leaking down the pedals.  The pressure line in has a check ball in it, could be froze or have trash in it.

It is really easy to reseal the unit and surprisingly it made a big difference on how the brakes work.  Gave it a lot more solid pedal.
