Are about all levers wore at the linkage hole if so how do you tighten them up My friend made new pins for the linkage but hole is out of round

The clutch pedal and right brake pedal have a bushing in them Is the shaft diameter the same ?? I think it is.

What I've done is clean the hole real good, rough it up and fill the low spot with JB Weld. then use a reamer to clean up to the size of the bushing then drive in the bushing.

sounds like hand clutch lever....my holes are badly worn. All I know to do is weld and grind/file but I aint that fed up with it yet.

Not sure we understand your specific problem? There are so many wear points on these old girls, and any tractor that has done it share of work is all loosey goosey! It sounds like the small hole in the bottom of the hand clutch. The one that attaches to the adjustable link? What I did there was to open the holes to the next pin size and get new pins to match. pictures would help! Regards, Chris

Haven't done anything for the hand clutch yet. I fixed up the foot pedals a few weeks ago - I had my local fab shop make up a new shaft and they put bushings in the pedals to fit said shaft. It's a world of difference!
