I am posting this for a friend. He has a WD-45 that has a bad block and head. Bought at the Meecum auction last spring in Davenport. Beautiful paint job but that's where it ends. He needs a d230 diesel block and head. We found a 6 cyl gas block but the block has grooves for the o rings where as the diesel sleeve have grooves for the o rings. Are there any d230 diesel blocks available for sale? As I said earlier, he also needs a head. Thanks in advance, Mark

DonMo posted here just the other day. Find his last post and PM him as he does conversions on the BUDA blocks, gas to diesel and he knows both well.

Whatever is wrong with that block head Midwest Cylinder Head in Nevada IA can fix it. If the counterbores are really bad they can sleeve them to bring them back. Won't be cheap, but finding good WD45D blocks is pretty tough.

I had a ggod block but I sold it a couple of months ago. I still have a good head. $500.00. I also have a fresh ground crank if he needs one.
