So what would you guys say is the quietest muffler to put on a 7060. When I bought it a few years ago it had a straight pipe on it and I can't hear myself think and am ready to get rid of it.

get a straight pipe with a curved end and set the curve away from the cab. or forwards.

That's what I have done at this point but is there anything better?

just a muffler....hold on to your billfold! the turbo takes out most of the noise, I have a straight pipe about 2 ft tall on my 7010 and curved away from the cab, it's not loud at all.

I have a straight pipe on my 7060,,, yea its gotta rumble to it,, but not real loud. I did put all new stuffing in under the dash and new cab kit and new
floormat,, that all helps..

I went through this with my 185.  The Stanley muffler was too loud.  My local muffler shop fixed up a very nice replacement for thirty bucks.  Works great and looks as good as original or better.  From what I have heard, you don't want to be too restrictive with a diesel, so use your own judgment there.

Got to second the cab kit thing. New pads, seals, grommits anything that blocks out air blocks out sound.
