Subject: Quick question before.... Gleaner F

Does anyone know if this gear is still available from Agco? Walker crank gear on 74 Gleaner F. On right hand side. I can seem to get it off to replace the bearing inside as i can't get a good place to hit or pry on it. I was hoping someone knew before I cut it off.
Thanks
Adam

Not walker crank, sorry its the gear that runs the sieve pivot

Cut the outside bearing race, then put a puller on it.

No room for a puller

Can you get a porta power behind it?

You mean ‘sprocket’, right?

Almost any sprocket you can imagine is available from a power transmission supplier. In this case, I would replace with a taper-lock type.

Chain number, tooth count, and shaft diameter should be all you need.

Only have about 4" to work with. Just ran home to get a couple big pry bars

Problem is the shaft that "drives" the sieve is welded to this sprocket.   It would have to be in time with the other side

ID say it is, if not plenty in junkyards, id cut it off and weld it back on if you really gotta go

A puller and a pin to press against the end of the shaft. If the tailings elevator is in the way, disconnect the return chute and unbolt it and swing it out and lift it up and wire it to the grain bin out of your way.

Weld a nut to sprocket as close to shaft as possible, then use a slide hammer to pull sprocket.     MACK
