Skyhighballoon (aka Mike) and his wife Cindy and friend John came by today to inspect the orange fleet. We spent an enjoyable hour or so discussing the finer points of living with and restoring everything from C's to D17's! Here's a picture of Mike and myself in the new shop with the current project, the WD45.
Mike's the good looking fellow on the left. Really nice that they could stop by on their way into Boston for the day.

We just walked in the door back at my friends's in NH from being tourists all day in Boston...will post some pics of the whole trip when I get back home.
Don...dang another check I have to mail you for the paid promotion, LOL!
Dave & Diane were wonderful to visit and I really enjoyed seeing his orange fleet and his new shop that's in progress. Very fine people that showed us great hospitality. That talk about pie day really was something. Too bad we won't be around for it this fall. Thanks again to both of you.

Mike, we were delighted to have you three visit. Surely enjoyed your company, and swapping stories about the orange gear was a treat. Now, "pie day" - you show up at my house for breakfast Thanksgiving Day and you get all the pie you can eat. Even better if you can hang around for several days........those pies take a while to get through!!

Dave...the new work shop looks great from what I can see of it! You'll have to show us more of it sometime. Sure makes working on things easier when you have a nice concrete floor.
Mike...some guys have all the luck (and time) to travel around and see some of the AC guys that frequent here! Boy...do you ever work! LOL! Just kidding ol' buddy...hope you and Cindy enjoyed yourselves on your trip.
And...speaking of pies, that sure sounds like a good time right there! Cherry and Rhubarb are among my favorites! Rick

Mike,
Next time yer' on the eastern boarder, take some time out to stop by with us and have some real Italian cookin'. My newest "squeeze" JoAnn is a killer in the kitchen. There goes my girly figure...! LOL! Yer' invited also Dave, and anyone else that's in our neck of the woods. BTW, she drives orange tractors and Streetrods, and she likes the smell of Nitromethane fuel. She's a keeper....

I tell ya, there's nothing better than the AC community. Thanks for the invite, Steve. As for the shop....this is day 10 of recovery from back surgery, so the shop sits there waiting for me! The WD45 that's in the picture is my current project, but the shop needs some attention: air compressor install, welding power outlet in side and board and batten siding outside. I am usually around, so give a yell if you're in my area.
