Now the old yellows the plow and counter weight in back worked together so it was easy to lift plow. Question is does the 900s do the same. I could go look but if any of you know me that's not so easy lol. My young nephew has one of our 914s and has been mowing at his house. He was telling me how he wants to get a plow and plow snow. So me and dad told him that we would give him a plow. But that tractor doesn't have electric or hyd lift and told him he wouldn't be able to lift it. If the counter weight, Works like the ole yellows on the 900s then we would set him up with one.
Thanks

If you have rear lift don't see why it won't work

No, the RBT's, including the 900 series, are setup so the lifts all work the same direction.  When you lift something up front, the rear lift rises as well, unlike the early FDT tractors.  I beleive there was a kit or a method for changing the direction of lift for the rear lift cable, but am unable to find that at the moment.  Peek under your tractor and you will see how the cable wraps aroudn the rock shaft to give it it's movement.  You might get an idea on how to change it.

If you remove the rear lift cable from the pulley & connect it directly to the rock shaft, it will work opposite like you are wanting.

I believe my 710 is setup that way.

Ok thanks. I can remember some of my first times on garden tractors. Dad put me on the bumble B-10 with snow plow and I plowed the whole back lawn lol. But I was only able to lift the plow because of weight on back. Ill have to look around for the parts to put the rear lift on there 914 so my nephew can plow this winter.
