Considering these machines from their origins ran on the Hot side and mine tending to run where I get uncomfortable, question;

Has anyone eliminated the engine side transmission cooler and installed a cooler to the front of radiator? Do you think it would change anything better or would the trans oil get too hot with a forced air based cooling media?

with a properly sized cooler I don't see how it couldn't be better.  the engine cooler is only going to keep the trans down to what?  190 degress min? or engine temperature  an air cooler could go lower even on the hottest days.    what about mounting it on the side of the operators platform with a reversible electric fan?  blow away in the summer and toward you in the winter?

Is a possibility but trying to keep the electric load off, just use the engine fan for aid(pusher) Have the fan off the donor which has reversible blades which MAY get overhauled and installed on this one.

Oil cooler for the trans is small on the engine so not too hard to get more area and flow time.
