I am new to this group, I was adjusting the brakes, the rod was rusted and twisted off. Does anyone know if you can get a new pivot pin block or do you need to get one machined or possibly get the broken rod out and weld and thread the rod? Thanks

After you get block out, some heat will usually loosen the broken rod. MACK

Thanks, then cut the rod and thread it and use rod coupling outside of housing with threaded rod back to pivot pin

On a 180 and 185, the left brake rod has a threaded clevis/yoke on the brake pedal end. It is 3/8" NF threads. If I have a brake rod that I think is going to twist off, I cut off the front end and thread it for the clevis to avoid pulling the rear axle out to repair a broken off rod.

I like that idea, I going to do that! I got the pivot pin out this morning and got the rod out of it.
