How do you get the pulley off the main shaft that drives the sickle. Pulley drives the anger and it has a piece on the end that drives the sickle.   Can't seem to tell exactly how it's attached.   I thought I'd ask on here before I get it tore completely apart in case somebody has been in to one. Need to replace the bearing and holder behind it.
Thanks

screws on -   turn it in the direction of rotation to get it off - usually requires heat - big wrench pipe or chain - and a long cheater...

Like Tbran says, except I've always had good luck after heating it up then using a larger metal punch & ball peen hammer to rap it hard for beginning to turning it off. Place the punch's drive end just inside lower spokes where spoke attaches nearest shaft. Sheave is cast, so it can break or chip if punch is not solid for good hit.
