A few dumb questions. I have never made it to a GOTO and was wondering about a few things compared to the red power roundup. I am working in LaPort Co restoring power and all I see around is red things headed to LaPort. LOTS of community support all around. Is this the same kind of attention the GOTO bring? The people really get into this, the red power guys seem to have a top notch website going with lots of information and different chapters. Do we have anything of the same, and other than a GOTO, is there a national show? I have been to the HPOCA national summer show when at Plain City OH a few years ago and the support was great. (that show by the way will be in Wooster Ohio next year) I know @ Dales there were vendors set up selling goods and services and a great time. I guess I was just thinking of it today seeing tractors and machinery all day while in the area. I am actually working in Springville, IN and New Buffalo MI. Hope to be back to Ohio by the weekend!! Be safe everyone LArry

2 years ago at the GOTO in Portland, Allis had a bigger turnout of tractors then Red Power did when they were at Portland. When a show like Red Power or GOTO comes to town, the people get behind it as it brings in a lot of people and MONEY for the town. Bob

HELLO LARRY Our Club in Union Grove, Wisconsin sponsered the GOTO COMING HOME in 2005 and had a parade in West Allis through the Allis plant, 198 tractors paraded on Thursday night in the rain, we had 511 people for the banquet, and people from as far as Tasmania, [guess where that is?] So much for history!
We are planning [ THE CENTURY OF ALLIS CHALMERS ] in 2014 and are planning on a whole day on the Allis grounds with a caravan to Union Grove. Mark your calendars September 12 - 16 2014 More news to come. Allen

We hosted the Red Power Roundup in 2002 and HPOCA in 2003. There were 1500 red tractors and 500 Cub Cadets at the show. It was interesting to say the least, but it made me appreciate the smaller shows and the more relaxed atmosphere when there isn't so much money on the line. I think we spent almost $100,000 preparing for the 2002 show, we were really on edge hoping for a good turnout.

I appreciate numbers as much as the next guy but Quality Is where it is. The allis folks are hands down , Smarter, Cooler, Less uptight, And just flat out look better on a tractor than the x brand collectors. Sometimes the truth hurts!!! hahahahahaha
