| I have a HD11 when I go to engage it using the clutch/brake control arm I have to hold it in a certain place before it will actually take off once it takes off it's like I have to hold it there to operate everything else and once it falls out of that spot it quits pulling until I find that spot again anyone ever had this issue or might know what's actually going on here this is my first just bought it a week ago I'm totally clueless |

Welcome The clutch needs a adjusting from the sounds of it. People here are helpful but getting a operators book for your model will be very useful.

| Thanks Ray54 the guy I bought it from texted me earlier today and told me he found the book that goes with it I'll stop by tomorrow to pick it up and go through it to see what I can find out thanks again!!! |

| It has a late model quick drop ram on one side , does the blade function ok they are meant to be a pair ? when lowering the blade does it twist ) left hand side would release quicker and the right ram would have all the weight . |

| Looks like one of the late ones with the dry clutch. They have a ring type clutch, you take off an inspection plate on the top to adjust, loosen the retainers and turn the ring I believe... Interesting to see that one quick drop valve for sure- you could adjust it to minimize the effect. |
