Hi guys. I noticed mowing with disc bine the engine has a slight surge to it. And when you pull the rotary rake with it, I don't think my tech is accurate but anyway the tech showing around 1500 rpm every once in awhile it will like rev up a bit for a sec then back to norm. It seems to run ok with any other piece of equip. Whatever it is about those work loads it acts up. What do you think it is. Thanks

Sounds like a pump issue. Ed can fix the pump issue, I highly recommend him. My 190xt runs awesome since he worked his magic on it.

My 200 does this and every time it has been trash in the T where the fuel line screws in the tank. It already has a rebuilt pump on it.

People send me pumps from one coast to the other lol! It does sound to me like the flex ring in the pump is indeed gone, and now the weight carrier is slopping back and forth in the slots. You can nurse it along, but when you have down time, it would be wise to get it serviced. As stated above, make sure the fuel supply is flowing good, and the return plumbing is open and free flowing as well.
