Now having some carb problems, fuel leaking out the intake. Want to order rebuild it (is not the needle valve) the card that on the tractor is a tsx-874, which shows as a john deere carb. carb for the last 20 years has worked great so even if not the original not going to change it.

Also need some other parts for this tractor like intake hose, shifter boot.  recommendations on cost effective vendor?.   Didnt check to see if this site sells part yet

The popular Carburetor that came on the WD45 was the TSX-464 just so ya know. We have all parts you need in stock if interested. Drop us an e-mail. I also offer Carburetor rebuilding if interested....

The 3 WD-45s I've had came with the TSX-464 carbs.
The WD-45 parts manual also lists the TSX-561 and TSX-773 as other factory carbs.
The D-17s came with any of those 3 carbs as well but after Ser. #42001 they came equipped with a TSX-871.....pretty close number to a TSX-874 if numbers mean anything.
If your tractor has run good with that "green" carb all these years, I think a rebuild kit from Steve should put you right back in business.

I have a TSX-871 on one of my WD45's and it works great...plenty of power and never have had any issues at all. It came off a D17 Series IV.   Rick
