Good Day I'm new here, I have learned a bunch thanks to this forum and I appreciate your help.
Short version, can you help me determine what value the tractor has & what kind of value the loader has? A few years ago the engine was still turning over and it ran fine when it was parked 10 years ago, except for needing clutch work. I'm also trying to identify the tiller that came with it but I'll make a separate thread for that.
Long Version...
We have an AC 160 with a 400 series loader and a 48" tiller that has been neglected for at least 10+ years.
My father inherited the machine a few decades back and used it intermittenly for moving dirt and snow removal. It's a well used machine that we never had engine trouble with, always started and ran well.
About 10 years ago he had a mechanic working on it, tune up, cables, lines and some other engine stuff I'm not sure of. Nine months after spending $1800 (he was ripped off, I believe) the 160 started having the well known clutch problem. So he parked it and decided not to put any more money into it.
Now it has been outside for a decade, it was tarped for 2 years probably, but the weather has now taken over.

Allis Chalmers 160
So I was wondering...
My father just wants to get rid of it, but I thought with parts being hard to come by maybe I should clean it up and part some things out? Or...
** Should I bother pulling it out and pressure washing it?
Should I try to get it started or just get a battery on it to show the motor is free?
What kind of value if running but not driving?
What kind of value if the motor turns?
It's clearly been neglected but the perkins is a horse and reliable so I'd rather it doesnt get scrapped. **
I'm located in Upstate, Central NY near Syracuse.

AC 400 Series Loader?
After looking over this forum I'm guessing the loader is a 460? After talking to my father and getting a closer look at the arms, I see a there is a bit of rust on them. The lower right is much worse than the rest.
Is it worth taking the loader off and selling it separately, or is that rust a deal breaker?
The bucket works fine but has some damage in the center (from chain lifting)
Lower Left
Upper Left

If I cleaned up the loader, refurbished and painted it, what value does it have?
If I removed the loader and sold it as is, what value?
If someone else has to remove it themselves?
Thanks For Your Time & Consideration

pull it out pressurer wash the dirt and moss off it and see if you can get it running. as it sits its just scrap metal.

That is a low-center 160. Not a lot of them left anymore.
