I have one B that has a 72 inch belly mower that we use to cut a field. PUts a good load on the tractor. Old mag would cutout after 1 hour. Used it that way several times. THs morning i installed a new coil and condenser. Fired up on the first roll. 2 hour later... spit, sputter, and die...Outisde of mag is hot.. Has anyone put a reversed fan on a B or C, WD ?? Im thinking a reversed fan would push air thru the radiator, keep the mag cooler, and proabably blow the grass/ weeds off the grill.. any ideas??

You just have a bad coil that needs replaced.

coil and condenser are brand new yesterday... im thinking of changing the condenser again. ever heard of a heavy duty condenser ? I got to believe the coil is good ???????

I have seen bad condensers new and that is a cheap thing to try first.

Steve, What you describe is a coil or condenser problem. You installed new coil and condenser. May be they are not up to par. As said above try the condenser first cause that is the cheapest. What you say about the reverse fan makes sense but what is happening should not be happening with a new coil and conderser.

Perhaps Steve NJ could be helpful.

Can't have my favorate especially yours not running right.
