I just put my pump back on with new seals. I am now getting a growl from the pump and the main housing is getting hot. The growl goes away when the clutch is pushed in sometimes. It is almost like the pump is still pumping.

So much for the tractor show tomorrow.

Lift arms won't go down at all when tractor is off. Main housing which pump bolts to is so hot I almost can't touch it.
Thoughts appreciated.
This wasn't,t happening when I put pump back on the first time. I had to take it off again when the I twisted off a bolt holding the pump together.

Just a chance linkage is adjusted wrong causing pump to want to lift all the time.

It seems like it is stuck on high pressure. I hope I didn't put one of the little valves in backwards

Spool valve stuck or in wrong. MACK
