My daughter is looking to purchase a tractor for mowing about 8 acres of yard/open area each week. She has located a Kubota L3000DT at the local 'green' dealer (hey at least she's not looking to buy green). She said it is a 2000 and has only 400 hours on it. It is 4WD and it looks new. It comes with a Woods bush hog behind it. I don't know the model number. They are asking $8,000 and she's in Alabama (don't know if the region affects price. Is this a good price, is this a good model tractor?

Have had an L2350 since new in 1986 or 1987. It is one tough tractor and has needed very little outside of normal maintenance. Very versatile and $8k is a very good price especially given that it includes the mower. ------------- D17 Series 1 Allis B- 1939 Allis B- 1945 |

If the price is too good, it might be a scam. Appears to be less than half the value, that one would bring around here, anyway...
