My daughter is looking to purchase a tractor for mowing about 8 acres of yard/open area each week.  She has located a Kubota L3000DT at the local 'green' dealer (hey at least she's not looking to buy green).
She said it is a 2000 and has only 400 hours on it.  It is 4WD and it looks new.  It comes with a Woods bush hog behind it.  I don't know the model number.
They are asking $8,000 and she's in Alabama (don't know if the region affects price.
Is this a good price, is this a good model tractor?

sounds like a reasonable price for a 32 HP 4 WD tractor and shreader! that's really low hours for it's age!

Have had an L2350 since new in 1986 or 1987.  It is one tough tractor and has needed very little outside of normal maintenance.  Very versatile and $8k is a very good price especially given that it includes the mower.

If the price is too good, it might be a scam.  Appears to be less than half the value, that one would bring around here, anyway...Wink

My FIL traded a 1980 L2510DT (if I remember right) about 3 years ago and got I believe $3500 in trade and it had some rust and cracked tires (originals)
