The bearings have gone bad in my G's fan shaft.  I'm having trouble getting the L bracket assembly off, due to a sticking bolt that goes through the head which I am afraid to break off.  I'll keep trying there, but even if I get the assembly off, I do not understand how to remove the fan and/or the pully to replace the bearings.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks

both press on, you will need a friend with a press or you will mess them up, the pulley is especially thin and prone to getting bent during bearing change

Mr. Right, are you sure the bearings are bad or just dry and squealing.  Usually the same thing with sealed bearings.  be sure to have new ones on hand before taking the assembly apart.  I seem to remember they may be hard to get.  If they quiet down by spraying spray lubricant on them while running, try injecting grease with an injection needle.  Not a permanent fix but can get you through till you find the bearings. Where in WV are you?
