A technician that I am acquainted with, took the torque limiter apart and found 2 Bellville washers. I don't believe I have ever heard of this before. I think it should function properly if everthing has the right measurements and 1 Belleville washer is used . Or am I wrong?

Local dealer on 7060's especially uses 2 Bellevue washers and puts a lock washer under the Bellevue clamp to compensate for the added Bellevue. They claim that with the extra horsepower of the 7060 over the smaller models, it has a tendency to slip the torque limiter.

I started double springing them in 1978 for a pulling tractor. A good quality 1/2" lock washer is the same thickness as the second Belleville spring. Longer Gr8 bolts are used in the spacer stools. You can't machine a flywheel enough to get the same results as two springs.
