needing to pull injector pump off my 200 for rebuild. there is a 1/2" x 1 1/2" (roughly) on side of pump. i took plate off and lined up the two marks in the pump, are these the only timing marks to line up? or should i look at something else?

There are timing marks on front crank pulley. You won't them if you mark front of pump to mounting plate. MACK

If you line up the marks in the pump window, that is all that is needed. Timing will be as it was when the pump is reinstalled.

once pump marks are lined up, you just verify where it was timed by looking at the marks on the front pulley or flywheel. This way you can make the necessary correction upon installation.

So, if I have the window marks aligned on the pump, I'm good? And just line them back up before I reinstalled the pump? And as long as nothing is moved on the the motor it will go right back the way it came off, correct? Thanks

I would look at your timing marks as another point of reference too. Then there is the dot on the shaft tang that you should note once you pull the pump. I tend to overthink things but.....

basically yes. But, when putting the rebuilt pump back on, why not ensure it's set exactly right. There's a couple different timing specs for the 200 based on what pump you have.

Get everything in place before you pull the pump. Then add some marks if you want too. Always mark your trail.

Best thing to do is get it rebuilt and then check in on this subject

Getting it rebuilt, but didn't want to just take it off and be a nightmare to go back on. Especially with limited knowledge of this

You post a photo by clicking on the button indicated in the photo below. this only works if you DO NOT use "quick reply".
After you click on that button, a pop-up will ask you to choose a file from your computer. .jpeg files seem to work best for me.
