I have some CA weights (two rear wheel weights plus the two front engine weights) that I don't use.

Any ideas on what they are worth ?

Am probably willing to sell, but golly, how to get them to the buyer ?

Have used Fastenall in the past with good results, but I don't know how much they weigh to ask for a shipping quote.

Anybody know what they are worth and how much they weigh(?)

my bathroom scale doesn't go that high I suspect.

Don't want to state the obvious but you could weigh them one at a time on your scale.Just a guess rears 140-150.Sides 80-90.Seems like weights have gotten heavier as I've gotten older(LOL).

Rear wieghts are about 150 lbs each fronts about 50 lbs ea. Last time I bought wieghts I payed 125 dollars a pair for rear CA wieghts allis wieghts, and 100 dollars for rear WD
Wieghts F&W wieghts. I would have bought more at that price but that's all they had. They were used stock from a dealer. I've seen them go $300 at an auction but I think the two bidders were nuts. We have more than 7000 lbs of wieghts at the farm that aren't for sale at any price. I asked when I moved them all to clean out the barn. We might need them someday.

We had two CAs when I was a kid and my understanding always was that the rear wheel weights were 145 pounds each and that the front engine side weights were 90 pounds each.

Front weights are 90 lbs as some the the guys have stated.  It has been a while since I sold any, but I got $200 for the fronts and $250 for the rear sets.  You can box the fronts separately and ship USP.  Rates have gone up but that used to cost about $65 per weight on the east cost.  If you has a UPS account or a PayPal account you get a better rate on shipping.  If not, it would be too expensive to pay UPS retail rates.

I *think* you can ship up to 150 via UPS, but it will cost you an arm and a leg. When I moved to Iowa I shipped four tires, weighing 114 pounds total, via UPS.

Put them on a pallet and send them by Fastenal. That's how I shipped the mower to you.

Do you still happen to have these weights?

I believe the rear weights will also fit D-10/12 wheels, too.  As for selling them, advertise on CL, particularly near the time that the Florida Flywheelers have their show...Wink

I believe they have events in early November, and mid January...Thumbs Up
