Up 05/25 absolute auction at Camdenton MO, a 1976 11B at Scotts Concrete. Evidently no minimum.

Dave, That's a nice specimen, it would keep that 7G company pretty well. It's our all time favorite dozer. We have logged 1000s of hours on them. There is a picture there that shows the pedal configuation that I was explaining to you (if you don't already know)

Sold for a WHOPPING $4100. Has a bad right final/sprocket seal, rails are shot, shoes are short grouser and has a ?head gasket? pinhole to be determined by the new owner! Other small issues noted in the auction site pages but well worth the $4100.

I obviously don't know crawler prices but $4100 seems like plenty for all the problems with that machine.
I didn't realize it doesn't sell until May 25th AND there is a 10% buyers premium too! Price could go a lot higher if there are a couple people who think they need that machine!

Yeah, has until the 25th but bidding has stopped. May pick back up by then but appears will sell cheap.

Called Scott's Concrete, was their machine used in yard to move excess offloads after they solidified, has not been treated well. They "Think" it has a head gasket seeping, loses coolant every few days, pressurizes radiator after using awhile and blows some water out after using awhile. Sounds like head and/or possibly radiator is choked up. He measured rails some time back are 100% used up, sprocket segments are not too bad, uncertain of bottom rollers, seal has been out two years. Has always started easy, just have to use starting fluid under 40 degrees, they bent the old headlamp guards having the blade hard angled and raised too far.

Quite a horse when in good shape. Brother had a 71.Out work D6C same vintage.

Since the auction doesn't end until late May, I'm surprised people bid it up so soon. I never bid until a couple hours before the end of the sale, then I put in the maximum I am willing to bid. Sometimes it works, other times someone wants the item more then I do!
