I recently bought a WC wide front end and was thinking about putting it on my 35 unstyled WC. My question is did all of the Wc's come with the wide front option or just the styled? And will my 17 Inch front rims work on the wide front? I do not have a picture of the wide front but I posted a picture of the wc I am wanting to put it on. Thanks

The 17's will not work ,unless u can get a bearing that will work in the 17 inch hub to go to the spindle on wide front .

Not that it matters. I am not with the correct police, but what was the first and last year for the arched axle?

Not sure on the years for the cast iron arched front end, but in 1947 they came out with the 3 bolt wide front for the WD and WC these early wide fronts are easy to spot because they have a weld along the top side of the front end, almost like they welded 2 channels together to form the front end, the later 3 bolt front ends have a 1 piece formed channel for the front end.

I didn't get to work on the wide front yet but hopefully I will this weekend. But I hope my 17 inch wheels will fit if I get different bearings but I don't know much about the WC wide fronts.

All of the "flat top" WCs  we sold were the tricycle type.  In fact, I was unaware of a wide front end for the "flat top" WC till I saw one at Fred Wilke's.
I do not know for certain but believe that the wide front end was an option on the "flat top" WC.
Remember the W in WC stands for the tractor name.  The C stands for Cultivation unit which - at the time called for a narrow front.
I cannot help you with the 17" wheels.  Fred is the expert there.
Good Luck!
