It's been about 2 years since I lost my helper, I volunteer every Sunday at the Humane Society, we got in a very pregnant Lab-Mix back in March, she had 11 pups, so the other week we decided that our home wasn't complete until we added some paws, so - meet Nicki & Bear my 11 week old Lab pups.

Puppies are undisciplined as well! Our current dog is 5 years old, got him as a puppy. I always said, if he was not so cute as a pup, he would be dead by now!

Joe, you brought good feeling on that one. I got a registered (believe it or not) female lab that I gave a home to and a brown 50 lb something or other that I picked up off the road a couple of years ago. Also just added a barn cat that I found in an abandoned barn. APL fixed her for $25 and she decided to stay in my barn and has become quite a buddy with me.
I really ought to volunteer at the local APL - gotta get off my arse and do that some day.
Our three dogs and two cats regularly make the rounds with us to SC and FL in the winter.
Cute pups there.

If I volunteered at the shelter, I'd have a whole house of them. I wouldn't be able to resist. We just adopted a full blooded boxer that had been abandoned on a back road in our area. She's great other than she is a constant '2 foot friend'. I think she's terribly afraid of being abandoned again. Great looking pups, I'm sure they will be ruling the house before long, if not already.

Joe, nice looking younguns you got there! I don't know what we'd do without our three. Guess the house would be really quiet, and well-organized. I think I like it better the way it is now, though. Good luck, labs love to chew until they're about 1 1/2 to 2 years old. Could be worse, one of ours is a Great Dane. He liked to chew when he was a puppy. LARGE chunks out of the furniture. LOL!
