I am looking for a new steering wheel for my D14. When I measured my steering shaft I got 7/8" and counted 36 splines.  Is this right?

I find a lot of "off" brand steering wheels (which I'm fine with) for around $20 with a 36 spline hub but with 5/8 (.625), 3/4 (.750)  or 15/16 (.9375) diameter hub.  As soon as I look for one with a 7/8 (.875) hub, price jumps to well over $50.  I want just a simple black three spoke steering wheel.  Anyone know where I can buy a cheap new steering wheel for a D14?

Will a D17 fit? I have a functional one on a D 17 not pretty but all there.

There's a D14 for parts in the classified section too.
