I bought this 1937 WC and found these numbers stamped on the left side of the seat base (as you're sitting on the tractor) and I was wondering what they might mean as I have never seen them before? Numbers are 135D and 40092

Possible foundry mold or batch numbers. Being you said it was a '37 (assume unstyled), I ruled out the long number being a date code 1940, 9th day, second month.

Yes, it's unstyled. Serial number is 41500.

I was actually in Jackson Michigan picking up a trailer. I had my dad bidding for me. I didn't make it there until about 1:30 to pay and pick it up. We thought that most of the tractors brought plenty for what they were. There were a lot of issues and unknowns with most of them.
