Nelson exhaust is now Fleetguard, a division of Cummins Filtration.  The straight through designs (i.e. B through D14/D15 I/D17 II) are still available, but not inexpensive.  I did some research on these last year and got prices from different Cummins dealers.  Chris/CT will testify how hard it is to find the offset designs.  I think he did finally find a match for his 175G.

I have been searching for over a week to find a muffler for my 175D, the only muffler I can find is a Stanley. If anybody knows of any other brands available please let me know.

Thanks
Curt

I've been looking for a Nelson for my D17 Series III for years with no luck. The Stanleys are a dime a dozen.

I found out today that an IH 454, 574, 674 use almost the same muffler. I called the local IH dealer and he has 2 in stock. He said he thought they were made by DONALDSON, are Donaldson mufflers better than Stanley?

Thanks,
Curt

Tony has the small circular ones that are silver in colour (for WD/45, etc).  In this case we are looking for the black oval shaped one.  A much tougher challenge!
