  Howdy,
Not much about these AC mowers. They are discontinued. Any value in  these mowers? Buy one new just not using it.

  Howdy CrestonM,
Just called this dealer, Gibson Co-Op. Said they hadn't built these mowers for some time but he could get parts. But ad comes up with pic of AC All wheel Steer?

Thanks Kurzy

I believe these were only made for a year or so. Most who liked AC were looking for a better built mower than what these were. We had high expectations and these mowers just couldn't make the grade IMHO.

It's just a cheap mower with a good name. I believe the parent company is MTD.
Companies like to do this a lot. They make a cheap product then they put a good brand name on it like Bell & Howell, Allis-Chalmers, Curtis Mathis, etc.
They just try to get a quick buck and destroy a namebrand while doing it.

Thanks & God Bless

I have seen some simplicity mowers that are new plaint black and have allis chalmers stickers on it. Look nice garden tractor size

If these things are duds, imagine what they'll be worth in 30 years!

My dad bought a regular steer when these first came out a few years ago. He mows a large yard and although not the quality of years gone by, it has been virtually trouble free other than a drive belt. 46" cut. AC130. My son also bought one and it also has been trouble free. Like I said, not built nearly as good as the origionals but they both have been pleased. Grass bagger is excellent.
