I bought a 37 wc  last weekend and I swear it came with a starter and lights from the factory .  The choke rods are brass and the wire harness it orignal and doesnt look like a wd or a styled WCs, the cross shaft for the choke is made into the gas tank support and it has headlight pipe that runs under the gas tank.  The tractor still wears her orignal paint and started after I dont know how many years and runs great with no smoke.  All the wiring is orignal and has never been butchered as well as the rest of the tractor except someone cut a hole on the hood for a muffler @ some point in time,  If anyone knows if you could get a wc with a starter and lights the info would be appreciated, Thanks, Dustin    Also I thought I got a pretty good deal on it 200.00

The starter and lights were introduced in late 1938 with the styled tractor. All unstyled WC's with anything electrical other than a Magneto were altered after they left the factory.

Mr. Taylor it happens to me a lot when I read the post after I have typed it.  I did get a laugh out of the date 1038.  I know you mean 1938 but it was amusing.
I enjoy your knowledgable posts.
Good Luck!

Sorry Bill, I fixed the date. I usually see it when my fat fingers hit the wrong key. By the way, some of the stuff I have learned about older AC's I learned from you so thank you Mr. Long for your contributions.  Charlie
