I have a D-10 and am wondering which series it is and how to tell. Is there a serial number list to show the start and stop serial number for each series? My serial number shows it is a 1961 model.  Thanks.

D-10 Serial 1001-3262 had the 138 engine and no live PTO.
I don't think the serial number given in Norm Swinford's book
is accurate for the change to Persion Orange #2. ( I have a originial D-12 in PO#1 with a serial number higher then given for the switch to PO #2)
Serial 3500 and up have the 149 engine and independant live PTO and hydraulics
Serial 3500 -4511 have the same features as a Series II but were not called Series II
Serial 6801-7850 were called Series II
Serial 9001-10100 were Series III with a lot of upgrades over the series II
There were no tractors between 3262 and 3500, 4511 and 6801, and 7850 and 9000.

Thanks. That answered my question. Mine is number 4465 which puts it in the pre series II area. This should help when ordering decals. Anyone have a good source for decals who is not real proud of them?
