$83,500 and they had to tow it through the arena cause it was sucking air somewhere into the fuel.

So which AC 220 FWA did you guys like better, this 220 FWA, or the Fanetti 220 FWA that she bought back last year during that auction.

Prolly for $20 extra! The Fanetti 220 was a much better deal in my opinion.

Seems like these sales are selling high for sure.
So if want big money out of something uncommon.
Looks as thought that it might be the place to take it.

The CA single front shows it only sold for S1400.00

I watch part of the Saturday auction online.

Also look at some of the prices for Regular tractors makes no since at all.
Farmall Cub $8000.00
Farmall 300 row crop narrow front $9000.00

Nice paint and what some would call "over restored"  definitely sells well at those auctions.  Kinda throws a monkey wrench in the dont paint argument, LOL.

During my 14 years (1986-2000) working at an implement dealership, there was a 220 FWA that got traded in and re-sold about a half dozen times. Each time, it sat on the lot for about 6 months, with a $4,500 price tag on it. The last time it was on the lot, though, it got a paint job, and went to Washington for $12,000. With just an ounce of foresight, I should have shelled out the $4,500 one of them times. Kind of like the sweet D10 that I drove into the ring and sat on as it sold for $750 at one of the company's "inventory reduction" auctions". I would give my eye tooth to have either tractor now for that money. And that's not to mention the 10 or 12 D21's that I seen sell for $800 to $1,200 bucks. Ugh! Darrel

The 220FWA came from about an hour away from us and was very nice. Cant understand why they had to pull it into sell, that tractor has always ran perfect. We sold the tractor to him back in the late 80s, Dad has said for about the last 10 years he wished he would have kept that tractor then but needed the money more than the tractor

Must have been some thick check books, I was at the national IH auction last fall and cubs were selling for about $1500 and they had a nice 300 that I think brought $3500 and that was also internet bidding.
