Like I needed it, but I'll take it! lol

This was just about 15 miles down stream(literally) from me.  It came from the original family and has not moved off the farm probably since it was bought new.  As always there are a few bugs to get worked out, but runs really nice and is a sweetheart of a tractor.  All the sheetmetal is really nice and it doesnt jump out of any gears as well as the hand clutch is really tight too!  It does not have an hour meter but guessing on its condition I would say it is in the 3-3500 hour range of use.  I think this one is going to be a treat, and hopefully KennyL wont steal it from me! lol

It also came with a 2-16s plow and a two row cultivator, just in time for cultivating!

Looks good Jim...wanna sell that cultivator? I need to put my Series II to work!  Hey guess what I found when I was cleaning out  the front storage area of my 110 spreader the other day....a nos part  (that 3 tab bearing block) like the one  you found for me. Dang! Can't see how I missed it before.....

Glad you found the part Eldon.  I bought a spreader last fall and that was the first thing I looked at to make sure it was ok!  Sorry, although I already have one cultivator, I want to keep this one with the tractor.

Jim - that's a sweet looking D15! Seeing it got me thinking....there's one been sitting in a construction yard not too far from me......owner hasn't been interested in selling it and my friend Lee was looking to buy it. Lee's gone now, so maybe it's time to talk to the owner again.

Nice Machine!  There used to be lots of stories about "Catnip", but "AC_Nip" was not mentioned.  Wish I had some of it to put on my pickup or clothes so some of that Orange Stuff would follow me too.

Why is there never time to do it right the first time, but always time to go back and fix it?

You know, one of the last tractors we sold was a D-15 narrow front.
I truly believe that the narrow front D-15 is one of the nicest looking units Allis Chalmers made.
Great find Jim.
Good Luck!

Good to hear from you Jim, if you keep spending time & money on tractors you will never get in here. Boy that one is sweet, I'll trade you 2 WD's ( 1 has power steering & 3pt) & you can have my cultivators & plow too if you want to keep that set together! Don't matter if you need them or not, they do NOT make 'em anymore...Harvey
